Privacy

QuoteShield keeps the minimum needed to provide a timestamped paper trail.

What we store

• The terms you enter, including the client's name and (optionally) email address.
• When the client link was first opened.
• When the client accepts: the name they type, the time, their IP address and browser user-agent.
• Short-lived, hashed IP counters for rate limiting (cleared daily).

What we don't do

• No accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics, no ads. We don't sell or share data.
• We don't send email (yet) — email previews are shown only to the owner.

Retention & deletion

Every confirmation is deleted automatically 12 months after creation. The owner can delete it — including the acceptance record and IP address — at any time from the manage link.
